peterhughes
Greetings I just hate it when I find some loophole in a game that make the game too easy to beat! This appears to be the case with invisiblity. For example, I managed to close an oblivion gate last night, by just constantly re-casting invisiblity. I was able to run past all the NPCs, right past their noses in many cases, without really engaging in any combat, with virtually no fear or sense of danger! This just seems wrong. Now, I have managed to improve this situation slighly, by using a mod that breaks your invisibility if you get too close to an NPC, however, I would like this to be further improved! 1) The act of re-casting invisibilty, when you're already invisible, should cause enemy NPC's to start to "search for you".2) While searching for you, NPC's should intially run to the location when you were last seen (i.e. the location where your invisiblity ran out, or had to re-cast your invisibilty before it ran out)2) While searching for you, spell-casting NPC's should cast area-of-effect spells that can potentially break you invisibilty (would the Dispel spell achieve this?)3) While searching for you, NPC's should run to your last known location, and start swiping at the air with their weapons, in the hope that they might hit you. If they do hit you, (or even if they just bump into you physically) then this would break your invisibilty. I suggest that the max 100% Chameleon is nerfed down to a lower number, so that you always have a chance of being detected, and then all the above rules are also applied. This would then make Sneak a worthwhile skill to have even for magic-using players. All this would add a real sense of danger and excitement to using invisibility, Chameleon and general stealthing. Anyone know of a mod that will do this, or would anyone be interested in creating one? ThanksPete
