batsqueak
I've tried looking around and i simply cannot find any pages regarding similar issues, so I'm giving up and going here. I have yet to actually mod Skyrim with Nexus, but that is precisely my problem. I want to place extreme importance upon the fact that I have Special Edition, because that's why this problem is so confusing. When attempting to set up SSE with Nexus, Nexus is demanding Dawnguard.esm be present in my data files for SSE to continue. I looked and it low and behold it isn't there, and neither are the other two dlc esm files. I have tried reinstalling and also verifying the integrity of the files in Steam, but this does not fix the issue. I do not know why these files are missing, or how they could be. I have completed the dlc related quests several times over, so they're definitely there. Pages I've found with this problem, the person has previous versions of Skyrim without the DLC, so their problem doesn't help me, because theoretically i should possess these files. The esm file for Skyrim itself is present and accounted for, so no issue there. I don't know if this is a problem with my files, or a problem with Nexus, and I've tried all the obvious fixes so I'm really at my wits end.
