cobaltofdoom
Hi!So I'm trying to either install Ult NPC overhaulhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76658/?tab=files OR Inhabitants of skyrimhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23755 The problem is that I want to use Apachihair 1.6 and both these mods seem to have been designed for 1.5 as they need female and male esms and 1.6 just has a unified esm it seems and doesn't read it. I would *prefer* to use UNO but I'll take Inhabs if needed.I'd much rather keep using 1.6 of apachii as the hair is really jarring in 1.5 So I guess:1. Is there anyway to make them recognise a dif apachi hair esm?2. if not, is there a good npc, bandit ect overhaul other than these two that doesn't need apachii 1.5 that people can recomend?3. I will also take recommendations to get similar results using other mods. 4. I highly doubt it but will UNO or Inhab still work without the masters? Thanks for your help. IsharaMeradin
On the Apachii Hair mod are optional files with standalone hairs for male and female. It is in those that you will find the ESM files that you need. The optional hairs are not included in the main file. You may safely use the optional files alongside the main and have access to the ESM files that you need for your other mods.
cobaltofdoom
As far as I can tell Apachii 1.6 here (which is MUCH nicer than 1.5)https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10168?tab=files has one ESM (pic below) When I install one of the overhauls it asks for 2 dif ones (another pic below) From what I can figure its Apachii 1.5 female and 1.2 male that'll have the ESMs it requires. Now from what you're saying it sounds like I can get 1.6 to have 2 different ESMs? Or were talking about the previous version?
IsharaMeradin
I'm saying you can install the main file (1.6) to have the apachiihair.esm then install the optional female (1.5) and male (1.2) files to have apachiihairfemales.esm and apachiihairmales.esm respectively. When done you will have 3 esm files form apachii hair and be able to use the other mods that you want to use. Just because the main file is at a higher version number does not mean that the optional files are obsolete.
cobaltofdoom
Would it not overwrite the other Apachi? or just make sure 1.6 esm overwrote them later in the load?
IsharaMeradin
Just give it a shot and see what happens. You can always uninstall and start a new game if it isn't what you want. Install the main apachii hair fileInstall the optional apachii female hair fileInstall the optional apachii male hair fileInstall Ultimate NPC Overhaul II file Test it out in-game
