change the players size?

im making a spell script an a part of it makes the actor grow. but how do i do this?

this is what i tried already but it doesnt work

 

player.SetSize 5

or

player.Setscale 1.6

ps: i use obse in the mod so i can use the functions

i think you should experiment with this but as for me i would go with size 5

u see, there is no effect. not with setsize and not with setscale

in a way i am not sure you can make people grow or shorten there should be console command have you seen one?

this is what i found with google

SetSize (CSize) -- Shrink/Grow an actor. [player.shrink 0.0 or radius]

but it doesnt work

There is a way (i.e. Resized races mod) but i dont know how you do it. There is the console commands to shrink/grow actors, but if they dont work. Maybe they dont work in game? Sorry not much help

i already shrunk my race,(yes its a race mod) but it has the ability to grow, and thats why i need to be able to let my race grow by a script

Lol, tell me when ur mod is finished, a race that has the abillity to grow ^^ sounds like fun to me, how much can you grow??? as high as th IC palace??

You must be in 3rd person when you enter the script for it to do anything, I use Player.setscale 1.6

but that's for console commands so I'm not sure if it's the same rule for scripts but it's worth a try
