DAModder and NMM do not work for installing mods (FtG UI)

DAModder and NMM latest versions. Running as administrator.

They claim the interface mod is installed correctly, but in-game nothing changes. I also cannot access the configurations of the mod.

Steam version of Ultimate edition. Windows 10.

What am I missing?

EDIT: Using other Mod manager utilities I got the UI mod to appear in the in-game mod list, but still it doesn't do the job.

@NexusBob42;

  1. NMM is a very poor choice for managing Dragon Age mods in general.
  2. Some legacy mods (like this) have the "Download with NMM" button showing, but NMM would never have handled them properly.
  3. DAM is only slightly better.
  4. Recommend DAO ModManager (DAMM)

All that said, none of the mod managers can deal with a mod like FtG-UI that contains several files in addition to the ones needed to make the mod work and several configuration options that need to be set. For mods like this the entire package needs to be extracted, the README reviewed, the included Manual studied, and the specific installation instructions followed.

OK, thanks. I will use DAMM.

Is still doesn't address my problem with the interface mod. It seems do have a DAZIP which I installed and an optional config utility, which I ran but didn't change anything.

One thing I noticed is that even though I have the Steam release, I can use the CD Keys provided by Steam to unlock the EA Origin service version. I will try that one with a fresh install.
