Saves suddenly .TMP ?

Okay, I don't know what is going on?

 

My game is suddenly saving .fos.tmp

 

I cannot save or move forward in my game at all.

 

I have added NOTHING to the game at all, not even any updates or such?

 

Saved game listing is:

 

Save 350 - Geo, The Capital Wasteland, 30.43.00.fos.tmp

 

I am at the heading towards the Regulator's Hideout when this started.

  • I tried removing the .tmp and the game locks while loading.
  • I tried going to an earlier saved game.
  • I re-tried LOOT and was told: No Changes need to be done.

You have too many files in your Data folder. The game engine cannot handle more than 130-140 total files including the vanilla game files.

 

You used LOOT to sort your load order and it is not correct. Mods with multiple plugins need to be in the same order as the base game.

 

Compatibility patches must load after the last mod being patched. Otherwise they are overwritten and rendered useless.

 

I suggest you go back to those mods with multiple plugins and read the mod description page for load order samples.

 

Or just use B.O.S.S. to sort your load order. LOOT should never be used with Fallout3. It has never sorted the mods correctly.

... actually I figured it out. :smile:

 

It's Merc 2, I missed a file that it was needed and thus it was looking for some links and were not finding them.

 

All is good now. :smile:

 

Game is moving long now great!
