trog69
My hard drive blew up and after replacing it and re-installing all the necessary programs/files, my granddaughter wanted to set up my new character. I had no idea until she clicked on "Continue" that my level 64 character was still waiting for me. I'm so tickled that the cloud system worked, and now I just wish that it was available for my FNV characters.
ClonePatrol
Be careful if you clear out and back up your save files to a different folder, if and when you start a new character. Steam doesn't seem to like that and when it notices it will want to "fix" it, and if you let it then it can end up replacing any new save files with the old ones it had stored in the cloud servers. This is only if it can't find any of the old files in the save game directory though. Edited July 20, 2012 by ClonePatrol
mike2977
So does that mean that I can install Skyrim on my notebook and Steam will find my character for me and make it available to play? How about saved games? Or if I copy my saved game folder to a flash drive and then put them in the saved games folder on my notebook? Will that work?
