jWiessing Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Currently mu Internet is down and I felt like playing some skyrim. It has no issue launching when I've got an Internet connection. I recon it has to do with being singed in to the network. Why do I need to be signed in to a network to launch my game with installed mods?(Vortex 0.16.15)

You are probably calling Steam with the game number.Go to your Skyrim directory and make a shortcut to the Skyrim executable.Use that or tell Vortex which executable to use.Skyrim runs fine with no Internet. And you don't need to have Vortex running to use your games.

AugustaCalidia Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 In Steam you have the option to "Go Offline." Your Steam games will launch with no problem.
