HamoDragonborn
Would something like that be possible? To be able to move freely inside the Vertibird while it's in flight. It would be useful to be able to go to the other side of the Vertibird and use your gun to mow down enemies in that direction. But I think the view itself, and the immersive experience of flying i Vertibird and being able to look around wherever you please would be worth the download of such a mod. What do you think? Deleted49413338User
I feel like most people who make requests have little idea on how complex their requests are. For something that would ad "slight" immersion to the game, it would probably take someone months to do and still be buggy.
HamoDragonborn
True, I have no idea how that stuff works, that's why I said I wasn't sure if that was even possible.
Glitchfinder
I haven't actually looked into it, but based on how the game behaves in each instance, I'm fairly certain that vertibirds, the boat to far harbor, and the train to nuka world all operate on a derivative of skyrim mounts. This engine isn't good at handling collision, especially if you're standing on something that's moving. The solution is locking your character to the moving model so that they move the same way at the same time. Thus the whole bit about being able to look around (and, in the case of vertibirds, fire a weapon) while being unable to move.
