MALE Road Leathers model on FEMALE characters

I honestly can't stand the female version of Road Leathers, and I've been trying to find a way to get rid of the female Road Leathers model and replace it with the male model, but I just can't figure it out. Anyone a little more savvy than my able to help me out?

I don't use the mod, but have you tried CBBE? it's likely only the female version is added though.

 

To just try alter it without the body sliders of that mod.. there is not enough vertices and the boobs end up very blocky. CBBE bodies have many more vertices and often the outfit is converted for sliders already. if not though, you could always just replace the armor addon nif file for road leathers female with something you prefer from the vanilla game

 

Also, do you know what the road leathers nif is? I can't find it...without looking too hard anyway.

The Road Leathers are in Armor under RaiderUnderArmor. It took me forever to find it.

I've been trying to use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/35621 to try and convert it myself, but it's proving nearly impossible. I think I need the help of someone with far superior skills to me.

Nice idea! I might be able to help mate, I'm good with 3ds max and making outfits for the game :) it'll be quick enough and I'd quite like that in my game too ^.^

 

Do you just want a straight up conversion of the male outfit (adding boobs, shaping to fit body etc) or do you want other details (like a bit of belly showing, or the white under shirt deleting or more cleavage showing etc, shorter jacket)?

 

Let me know, and give me a few days and I'll see what I can do :)

I see you made this. nice work, How easy is it to edit the jacket back to full length? I like practical outfits in the wasteland. haha.

 

Not requesting you do it, I am capable as long as the foundation is there

I was actually going to include the full jacket as an optional zap slider but while modelling the shorter version I accidentally deleted the long one and hadn't backed it up :(

 

So I just remade it :) the 0.2 version should now have a zap slider for the longer jacket version :) (and should be available to download in a min or two)

 

A note on modifying the outfit -

There should be good topology with minimal clipping and enough verts now to pull the outfit about and reshape/repurpose however you like :)

(and should be easy enough to edit in outfit studio or whatever 3d software you use)

No problem :) when you build the outfit in bodyslide - above the sliders should be a few tick boxes where you can select which jacket to show/hide :)

Ah, but where do I find the file for it? I can't find it in my Fallout folder.

And do you mean BodySlide or Outfit Studio? Sorry for the dumb questions, I am a modding newb!
