Hi.

I've experienced an issue in CK once or twice before when working on exterior cells (never interiors).

Basically blocks of colour start flashing on and off in random parts of the render window.

Last time it happened I looked for solutions and found that others had experienced similar issues, but I found no solution.

This time I noticed that the frequency of the flashing/flickering was increasing as I added more to the cell and more and more of the render window was affected each time.

Solution (for me)

In CK open up the 'Preferences' dialogue box and choose the 'Shaders' tab.

In my case 'shadows' was checked

Uncheck 'Shadows'

The flickering stops instantly.

No other setting that I was using in my preferences had any affect. I'm guessing CK couldn't handle rendering shadows for the dozens of flowers I'd put into the cell, although the game itself has no issues with it.

Hope this works for anyone else with this issue because it's very frustrating as well as hard on the eyes.
