Would be automatically in the inventory from the beginning whether you're in the Imperial prison or in an alternate start I figure it will be lore friendly since we see plenty of NPCs just walking around with their own journals. Marked as a quest item so it can't be dropped or sold but has a zero or a very low weight. Automatically enters the date and time when writing a new entry if possible? It would be used for immersion/writing your characters diary or to keep game notes or whatever you please I suppose. Might make it easier to keep track o things if you're like me and tend to character hop and forget what you were doing last. I thought of this concept a few months ago but since I don't have the know-how to mod this myself I figured I'd share with the class and see where it gets me. I'd be willing to help if I can!
