Lord Slyther
To whom it may concern Hi. I come to ask a question about the report feature, or the security of the site. When I report a disruptive comment on here, it's usually taken care of later. A moderator does his/her part, and problems solved. But I'm noticing since I made 2 reports, and waited a day or two, no action has been taken. Now my report list comes to a total of 4, and still no action has been taken. I'm just wondering, are any moderators doing their part here? Because they're usually notified about the report. But it's either if the report is broken, or the moderators have been busy. The Terms of Conditions restrict flamming, trolling, and disruptive insulting comments from what I can see of it, but no action has been taken. I fear this site might come defenseless if no moderator takes a stand against these threats. So please don't let your guard down for us. I'd rather not be open for flammers to attack. I posted this because I have not yet received a notice from another moderator assuring that they take action. I strongly believe that they do take care of it, but it shouldn't take more than 2 days to take care of, nor is it forgotten. Anyway, thanks for understanding what I was experiencing, and I hope for the best of your safety and security of the site. Best regards...Lord Slyther
Stampede
Your concern is unwarranted. The report feature is working fine. For my part, I am very busy this weekend and do not yet have an internet connection at my new house. (I am helping my folks right now at their place and using their PC.) From what I can see however, is that you have a problem with people who do not appreciate your screenshots. So far in the posts you have found offensive, people have expressed why they do not like it. Which is their right. There is no need to become argumentative as you have done so here: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry553843 Art is subjective. Not everyone is going to pat your back when you submit something. I know that happens quite often on Deviantart (which I am a member of) It is a dangerous practice as it stagnates your progress. You should learn from their crits. Please carry on putting up images, but also be willing to accept it when people do not like it. Should anyone be needlessly crude about your images, you can be sure the moderators will act on it. We have already viewed your reports and have found nothing that breaks the TOS. Lord Slyther
I understand then. There maybe was a misunderstanding, but I was making sure it worked. So thanks on that part. But when I noticed the word 'this looks bad', I felt like that wasn't a good reasoning, so that's why I reported it. I apologize for the misuse. Stampede
No worries, thanks for your reply. I hope you will continue to upload images. As I said, we will police all responses accordingly.
LHammonds
And as some extra info, there have been no less than 3 moderators that looked at and commented on each of case notes. I was first to see the report and make a comment. I took no action because I saw no need for action. One of the comments was obviously from somebody who did not speak English as their native tongue but it was still clear that the issues was with the blur and focus of the image (which I tend to agree). So I passed this on to other moderators to see if I was missing something obvious. I will close these cases since I asked for other moderator input and have obtained them. No action is deemed necessary. (which I would have sent a PM to let you know but this will suffice). LHammonds
