Vortex deleted mods

Vortex has made my mods disappear and borked my saves, for some reason it has deleted a load of esps or something and I can no longer find them anywhere.

Where does vortex put mods it deletes?
Nothing in recycle bin

It's actually removed things like campfire.esm but left a load of BSA files.
How can I recover these missing esms
