Problem whilst making jacket mod

Hello All

So I'm trying to make a simple jacket mod with the grifter fit jacket, I've edited it in blender and it all looks good in nifskope (I have imported and exported it as a .nif file), however when I try to view it in the geck the textures are gone and the sleeves of the jacket are gone however when I movie the camera slightly the sleeve texture appears out of place.

Please Help

1. I'm guessing you aren't getting your textures because when saved the path to the texture file in the NIF was saved as "absolute" instead of "relative" format. Please see the wiki article "How to fix hard-coded texture paths in NIF files" for the procedure to locate the texture file entry within NifSkope. (The path needs to be "relative" instead of "absolute"/"hard-coded" in order to be found on various installation locations, which is what that article covers.) But in short form the procedure is:
* Open the NIF file in NifSkope.
* Click on the part you want the texture for; it will highlight it in the Block list.
* Expand it and highlight BSShaderPPLightingProperty. Expand that.
* Highlight BSShaderTextureSet.
* In Block Details you will see textures (DDS files). Expand it.
* There you will see the paths to the textures used by that mesh.

2. Re; the sleeves. Please see 'TIP Flickering on added item Radius Setting' under the 'Custom Items' section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article.

Hi Dubious

Thank you for your response, however unfortunately I tried resetting the texture path and edit the radius in nifskope and blender but I still have the same problem

Have you opened the .nif in NifSkope and then checked the shader package.

Expand the NiTriStrips for the sleeves.

Choose BSShaderPPLightingProperty

Check that Shader Type is Default

Check to make sure that Shader Flags are set correctly.

This has to be done everytime you export the .nif file from Blender.

Also, make sure when you export the file from Blender that the correct game and shader flags are set.
