wearetanuki
I have been looking everywhere to try and figure this out. All the info i can find talks about a time when you could select UUNP during the install for Bodyslider. I really want to use this skin, https://www.flickr.com/photos/seren4xx/15342092530 but I need a UNP body. I really like bodyslider though. Is there any way in the current version of Bodyslider to get a UNP body in there and this skin to load correctly? Thank you very much

There's been no change to this as far as I'm aware. When i install bodyslider through MO2 there is no option given to select a UUNP install. An I have read that it is just integrated into it automatically now. But then getting those skins should work right? Also the creator of those skins made a CBBE patch but I dont know how to use that either.
TheGreatFalro
Ah, I see the problem. You're using the Special Edition of Skyrim, right? Currently the SE doesn't have UUNP, since the SE CBBE is much improved. You can either install the 2011 Skyrim's Bodyslide, and use UUNP from that, or apply the CBBE patch, which can be installed by taking the femalebody_1.dds from either the 05 or 06 folder (whichever version of the base skin you installed) and the femalebody_1_msn.dds and femalehands_1_msn.dds from the Normal Maps folder and placing them in ...\Data\Textures\Actors\female\. For the main mod itself, copy all of the .dds files in the base folder to the location specified in my comment above.* This would be under wherever you have Steam installed, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\. So for the default installation, the whole path would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\Female". *(By the way, I accidentally left out the "\Character\" folder in the earlier comment.) Just copy and paste them there, assuming you chose the default installation location for Steam and Skyrim, and it should work. Yes, it will affect all female characters except those who have custom textures - i.e. modded followers specified to be "standalone". The other folders in the mod are the options; just choose the ones you want and copy the files within to the same place.
