random freezes =/

hi everyone

been running into these very annoying random freezes in my new playthrough and im wondering if anybody would know whats going on.

Im using Alternate start live another life (to skip the lenghty and boring intro sequence and i chose to start as a bandit)

I was having the same crash issue. I finally found out how to check the logs and found this exact same example. If anyone could help with this issue it would be greatly appreciated. There is nothing more annoying than having my game crash every 15 damn minutes.

Same thing here, everything was running fine for the last couple of weeks and now I am gettings those freezes and the strange companionshousekeepingscript bug in my log before I CTD.

Any news?

First suggestion - as this looks like a vanilla script that is possibly corrupt.

How to Verify Steam Cache - this fixes many problems and should be one of the first things you try when your game starts acting strange and you haven't added any new mods lately. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

bben46, you asked about what doesn't work,

 

Becoming a Vampire Lord does not eliminate the error.

Nor does killing all the Companions, Vilkas was killed by the Altar of Sacrifice since he was "essential".

On the plus side, my Ebony Blade got stronger by killing the Companions. :P

 

Its a rare CTD, but nevertheless it does occur, usually when zoning.

Non object variable in the companions quest line....it mentions both radiant quests and "housekeeping". Whats is the name of that old lady that keeps the companions longhouse clean? Does she have any radiant quests? Or perhaps this is only the title the game devs used to apply to one or more of the radiant quests. Notice how the temp file location keeps changing, meaning this is most likely a reoccurring quest line, one of those "go there and do this" over and over quest-lines. Regardless of where the script line tries to call the quest-line and the location of the "temp" file is the one thing they all have in common is the script line "line 346". I'm guessing this "QF_C00_0004B2D9.psc" line of script is corrupt. Is it possible to console command this script and find out what quest it's tied to?
