OK Guys, due to the problems I had during the last roleplay I started, it quite frankly, sucked. This one, I hope, will achieve more.

---------------------------------------

The process is very simple. I need 6 roleplayers, and 6 only. In this roleplay I shall control the NPC's, battles etc.

First, I need each of the 6 to choose a class from below. These classes can only be picked by one person, so if one persons picks a class then nobody else can be of that same class:

Gladiator

Battlemage

Vampire(ess)

Archer

Dark Elf

Angel

---------------------------------------

These may look like weird classes but it all blends into the storyline. Next, you must choose your key skills:

Gladiator - Sword Lore (How well you use swords)

Hand to Hand Combat

Armour (How well you use armour)

Concentration (More deadly attacks can be mastered with this skill)

Strength

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

Battlemage - Magic Lore (How well you use magic)

Long Weapon Lore (The use of Staff's etc)

Axe Lore (How well you use an axe)

Concentration (Once again, more deadly attacks can be mastered)

Agility (Yes, believe it or not, a BM has to be very quick)

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

Vampire(ess) - Vampirism (The ability to effectively turn to Vampire form)

Bladed Weapons (Can be anything from swords to pikes)

Stealth (While in Vampire form stealth can be handy)

Armour Lore

Conjuration (The ability to successfully conjure demons to assist)

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

Archer - Dexterity (Accuracy and Speed)

Longbows (The ability to effectively use Longbows)

Crossbows (The ability to effectively use Crossbows)

Agility

Short Bladed Weapons (For close combat)

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

Dark Elf - Martial Arts (The use of Hands and other body parts in combat)

Stealth

Bladed Weapons

Ballistics (The ability to set traps)

Dual Wielding (The ability to use two weapons at once)

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

Angel - Sword Lore

Heavenly Magic (The ability to cast magic such as healing etc)

Meditation (Increases the effectiveness of spells)

Magic Lore

Fire Magic (The ability to use destructive fire magic)

Riding (The ability to ride horses)

-----------------------------

For now, I just need people's names and their class. I'll sort out the rest and inform you of more details at a later date.

I really hope this one works out, I'd like to be the Vampire, please.

But I'm confused it seems to me you already have the skills picked for us.....

MAjor:

1-Vampire - Vampirism (The ability to effectively turn to Vampire form)

2-Bladed Weapons (Can be anything from swords to pikes)

Minor:

3-Conjuration (The ability to successfully conjure demons to assist)

4-Stealth (While in Vampire form stealth can be handy)

5-Riding (The ability to ride horses)Armour Lore

6-Armour Lore

Is that right? This is my priorities.

I seem to have made a mistake up above. You kind of have it right Acoran.

I want you to choose 2 of those skills to be your major skills. The 2 major skills will be the ones you specialize in. Then list the other skills (minor) in order of their importance.

SimVig, that will be fine. Please let me know about your skills though please. Thanks.

We would therefore request that all rp threads should be given a descriptive setting - there are some excellent examples of settings on the forums. Any rules which apply must be explained clearly - a 'this is how we play it at home' is not sufficient.

Any thread which starts off without a setting and rules will be locked immediately, and remain locked until the thread starter supplies the missing information via PM.

edit: information provided, thread unlocked

==================================================

It's the year 103 Yuranin in the Second Age of the Calender of Rolek. The kingdom of Mesithilania has, since the beginning of its foundation, been ruled by the Teril family.

Mesithilania has always had an understanding with the settlements of the aligned Goblins and Orcs on the outskirts of the kingdom. It was King Fer Teril that first signed the treaty forbidding any conflict between the alignments. The Goblins and Orcs, therefore, lived and worked with and around the population of Misithilania for many ages. However, in the year 101 Yuranin, Fer was assassinated whilst on a journey to the bordering kingdom of Airacan. Suspicions arose when Fer's son, Urbol, was crowned king. He ordered no investigation into his father's death.

Urbol then set out to destroy the treaties that hs father had signed with the Goblins and Orcs. This angered them, and they took it upon themselves to break the treaty. For only a few months, the Orcs and Goblins lived seperated from the Misithilanians, until one day, when Urbol ordered an army of troops into a nearby Orc village. The village was destroyed, and the Orcs became very angered. The Goblins swore their alliegence to their neighbours, and started plans of a full scale invasion on Misithilania. Urbol became scared, he knew he had to do something. He had an army, but not of a brilliant size. He needed something special to help defend the lands. He needed an Elite Guard.

Word had spread of 6 extraordinary people that lived within Misthinalia. There was the Gladiator, of whom Urbol had once seen himself. He was a brilliantly built man, with extreme skills in Swordplay.

Urbol ordered his release. But after some dealings, the arena master persuaded Urbol's personal assisstant to let the Gladiator stay. Urbol needed more men. He had heard of 5 others, but had never seen. There was the BattleMage, a supposed master of the magical arts. The Vampire, who was said to be good at heart, a good warrior, but one that still needed it's daily intake of blood to stay alive. There was the Dark Elf, a quiet assassin that had been the suspected criminal in many a crime. Then there was the Archer. He had fought in the Misithinalian army, and had won rewards before deciding to live quietly as a farmer. And lastly, there was the "Angel" as it was so aptly named. A "man" with wings and long flowing hair. He had been said to have saved many lives, from attacks and from natural dangers.

Urbol had to get these warriors. So he sent his finest spies on a mission to find them. Urbol's first move had begun...
