problem with willow companion and EVE

I am new to mods, I used FOMM to install a bunch of mods and now my game crashes right before I reach the main menu. I used FNVEdit as many people seem to recommend, I let it upload everything like normal and everything went fine till the end, 2 massive strings of errors came from 2 mods when FNVEdit attempted to build reference info. I have posted the section of FNVEdit that displays the errors... (there are a few irrelevant lines of text where reference info was built properly for other mods...)

The errors FNVEdit is reporting for Willow aren't really errors (and it explains this in her readme) and the "errors" for EVE look to be of the same kind so that's not your problem. I'm not familiar with many of your mods but it sounds like one of them is missing a master or maybe you have an outdated patch in there somewhere. Did you use BOSS to sort your load order? Check on all of your compatibility patches to make sure you have the correct ones and also you'll want to remove Mo' Willow as it's outdated and no longer supported.

Oh... that's good news and bad news. I now know that those "errors" weren't actually errors, but now that they aren't the problem, I have to go back to step one and figure out what the problem is...

 

Yes, I used BOSS to sort my load order, and then I moved a few mods BOSS didn't recognize into what I THINK were the proper positions...

 

Sorry again but I'm going to be a bit lost when it comes to double check masters and compatibility patches... should I use FNVEdit?

HEY, just unchecked MO' willow patch in FOMM, I got super close to the main menu (literally right before the text fades in) before I CTD'd

 

so I guess you're right, its just outdated stuff and compatibility stuff... I would love it if you could help me through getting rid of all the bad patches and stuff!!!

Might of found the problem... Like the dumb ass I am, I installed project Nevada without the patches for DLCs, EVE, and WMX....

u REALY need basic knowledge about installing mods...

 

i said before that is not a good idea "a bunch of mods installing" ithout testing, so i have try to help u 2-3-4 times? ...is not helpfull if u "bugfixing" wrong builds.

 

so u dont want realy help i think... because u didnt noticed any tips.

 

installing compatibly patches for eve wmx didnt fix the ctd problem i bet... ;)

 

i forced u again to fresh reinstall the game... and DONT add a bunch of mods without playing/testing.

btw just one more question: once I do a clean install and then open FOMM, I will still be able to access, all my original mods in the package manager right, because it is annoying to have to add every FOMOD to FOMM

yes if u used this feature and not deleting the saved fomod files from fomm \ modsave folder.

 

take sure u clean up the game data directory before install. and make a vanilla backup from the data folder, then u can easy rewise without reinstalling.

Your clearly missing a master file, you have a mod that is dependent on a mod that you have not installed (such as a patch for a mod you do not have). You should slow down and make sure you read all the readme, they will more then likely provide you with links and information to any mods they require.

 

I do not know most the mods on your load order, so I can not just point to one and say its the issue sadly.

that is why we only add one mod and testing... cheesecake has installed many mods in a row... so we don´t know where the bugs are.
