HKX file anatomy. New HKX files, help?

Hi again, I'm working on adding a few custom bones for outfits, but I hesitate to mess with the original skeleton.nif unless entirety necessary...

 

Right now I have some havoc bones added onto gloves.nif, (gloves.nif has a pretty simple hierarchy)

The vanilla gloves.nif doesn't have a HKX file, so if I make a new HKX for the gloves should I export a HKX from the vanilla gloves.nif in hct and then add the new bones from the custom HKX, or should I just make a new HKX from the custom bones and throw it into the new nif?

 

Should all the bones in the skeleton be in the new HKX or just the havoc bones I'm adding?

 

Should I change the toplevelobject number in the new HKX/xml to the physics system number like for skyrim hairstyles or should I leave the HKX exactly as it is when I export it from hct?
