Skyrim is crashing each 30min

Hi..

 

It feels like every 30min or houre my Skyrim crash. First the screen freez then i have to use Task Manager to shut it down and at the end of all it tells me that Skyrim dosnt answer.

 

Ive just did an graphic card update today..

 

It have been like that for about a week now.

 

What can be wrong..

What are your system specs? Using any mods? Made any changes to the ini's?

 

More than anything, it sounds similar to the sort of issues you could experience with not enough RAM, if I'm honest.

I have downloaded a ton of mods, really a lot! From armor mods to textures and followers + player home.

Then a lot of new animations and stuff. But yeah, it feels like when im doing a very fast command like turning 180° and start running.

It could also be heat. Do you have a heat monitor installed? (Try downloading Speccy to help us figure out what your problem might be, hardware-wise.)

@Eil17, either mods are crashing your game or your graphics card isn't setup right or malfunctioning.

Check your AMD/NVidia control panel and game profile for settings you've tweaked too high.

As PharmakosChroster suggested, is your graphic card getting enough cooling?

 

What mods are you running, post the contents of your DLCList.txt here (search for this in your systemdrive).

Anytime a mod is installed, it is best to do this one at a time then thoroughly test before installing another mod; and,

be prepared to uninstall the mod and back out any changes you made to the game.

Intrusive mods that change the follower system, add/change player homes/locations, and/or

alter/add animations are known to have issues sometimes.

Be careful disabling/uninstalling certain mods, if not done correctly you could corrupt your gamesave.

Already thank you all for answering my question! :-)

 

But now it happend again, i played Skyrim, i was in Whiterun(infront of Breezhome) and killed some guards( a whole bunch, i think like 5), and what happen? Yeah, ofc..my fps goes down and down..and woooop skyrim shuts automatical down for no reason.

Like i said, i updated my Graphic Card just today and when i go to www.canyourunit.com and run Skyrim i got full green bar.

 

Hmm.. mods i use...i already took away a lot of the graphic mods....ofc i got mods like body replacer, better looking eyes + faces and lips.

I think the only one im using atm are all the "Sexy City Retex" (Sexy Whiterun v3) from horrorview.

 

I also downloaded SkyBoost to get some better FPS, dosnt seem to work.

@Eil17, hi, i haven't used AMD/ATI gear for a long time, anyway, you could try this troubleshooting experiment:

Open Skyrim settings menu, turn off AA (Anti-Aliasing).

Open CCC (Catalyst Control Center), enable 'Advanced View', go to 'Gaming', '3D Application Settings', disable 'Use Application Settings'.

Go to 'Smoothvision HD', set Anti-Aliasing low or off.

fyi, it looks like you're running a few big mods that are known to push gaming rigs hard and/or may not peacefully co-exist

which might be causing Skyrim to crash.

It's entirely up to you; but, ask yourself if you really need a lot of them at the expense of Skyrim performance/stability lol.

Oh no..next problem, i cant open my Catalyst Control Center anymore, great.

Thats a lot of mods, I would stay way from the highres texture mods with that vcard...your Probably over pushing your card I would run any 3rd party program like msi afterburner that monitors usage of video ram, then play the game and wait for it to crash. Thats a lot of mods, I would stay way from the highres texture mods with that vcard...your Probably over pushing your card I would run any 3rd party program like msi afterburner that monitors usage of video ram, then play the game and wait for it to crash. Your most likely capping the video ram and that will crash ya.
