Bookshelf duplication crash [Help]

Im finishing up my house mod and encountered an error. I followed the creation kit guide to make functional bookshelves https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Tutorial_Bookshelves and got it working without problems. Now I am trying to find a quicker way to fill out the other 9 shelves using the first one I made by hand.

I tried selecting each individual part,

CTRL + D crashes

Right Click + Duplicate crashes

CTRL+C CTRL+V crashes

I did all of these both in the viewer and the editor ID box

Really trying to avoid manually linking and placing 162 book references

Any ideas?

Ok, I went into CK to experiment for a minute. I hid everything around the noble bookshelf in the upstairs bedroom of Hjerim, highlighted the whole thing and its activators...

CTRL + C = perpetual processing, not responding

right click > duplicate = same

But I was able to hide the bookshelf and all the yellow boundary boxes, then highlight one row of the dummy books and the activators linked to them, and they duplicated almost instantly. My guess is that the whole works is now too much for the memory available to CK. I say that because, though I'm on a meh computer, some folks on that other thread are on high end, high memory computers, and having the same problem.

The best I can offer, off the top of my head, is to do it by sections. Copy the furnishing and the yellow bounding boxes first, then copy the dummy books and activators, one row at a time, into them. Takes longer, but still arguably better than having to recreate by hand, every time.

Brilliant!

I only put two bookshelves into Severin Manor because of just this issue (CK32 never crashed moving bookshelves around).

Now we just need someone to modify the books and book markers so that the insertion point isn't stupidly in the middle of the book but at the bottom where it's needed!
