Nousentre Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Hello out there. I'm looking for a solution to, what I suppose might be, a common problem. (Aren't we all?) Anyways, whenever I'm running the game, I tend to max out a lot of the features it has to offer, and make run spectacular as well as look spectacular. But recently, I've noticed that about every 90 seconds, the game freezes for about 5 seconds (only the video; the audio is completely fine) regardless of what I'm doing or where I'm at. I could be at the top of Dragonsreach, looking down upon the districts of Whiterun and watch my game suffer from the massive FPS loss, or be inside Hjerim in Winterhold (which, if anyone has completed the Butcher murders quest, you'll know there is absolutely nothing in there to process), and I'll get frustrated knowing every so often the game locks up like that. I've uninstalled the game, and run it without any mods. The problem continued to persist. I have a feeling I may have adjusted some settings so that the game would do this. Problem is, I don't know which one. Or it could be some left over data from the mods I've installed? I'm not completely sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gonna need lil more info for anyone to offer proper advice. Also, save games can become infected/corrupted if installing/uninstalling mods and not doing so carefully.
