Skyrim 3-5 Second Lag Spike

Hello everyone. The other day I started getting 3-5 second lag spikes about ever 2 minutes of gameplay. As I play the game longer the lag spikes get worse and worse. The game is pretty much unplayable. I had a few mods installed including the DLC content and the SOS Civilization mod. As I progressed in the game the lag spikes turned into CTD. I backed up in my game and I now get just the lag spikes. Other than that my fps is usually capped at 60, as in it's not a hardware problem with my computer. When the game was crashing the savefiles were at 100+mb. I am now level 42 with 10-16mb save files. They keep varying now. I've taken off all of the mods except the HD content. After opening the paprus log I get the following message:

The errors seem to be occurring while trying to push files onto a stack or when poping them off.. Right now the "FestivalEndScript" seems to be the culprit or other errors with the .OnUpdate() function. Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Also the bug seems to be recurring within the new game saves. If I go back to when I was around level 25 or so, the game play is fine.. I don't want to start over :/

Cheers

SOS Civilization

There's your problem. The mod author took it down due to the problems it was causing numerous people. You will have to uninstall it. Check the size of your save game files. There are other topics about that mod on the forums. You might want to read those.

Yeah I've seen plenty of those threads about the author taking it down and I followed all of the steps to uninstall the mod using the in-game console and deleting the files from the steam folder. Yet I am still getting problems from it.
