Halororor
I recently thought that it might be quite nice to have an TES game set in the older eras before the invaders came and the Ayleids and Dwemer died out. Imagine actually playing as an Ayleid or Dwemer, walking around in their cities and experienceing the splendour of their architecture and technology. You might even get a chance to fight the Akavir and go enslave some Argonians. What do you guys thing? This might be a great idea to suggest to Bethesda. Sarya
Of course, but such a considerable switch in the in-game culture requires hell of a work, and on Bethesda's current capability to do such a thing... I'm not really sure...
MrCooper2006
Id be an Ayleid, would be really good. Itd be like the old "old" days... Hopefully Beth already have an idea for the next one tho, and after the attention Morrowind and Oblivion have got, they cant not make one! Id be happy with anything, only better graphics, and bigger and better than Oblivion. Anywhere would do, Valenwood, Akavir, Hammerfell. Althought i doubt anything they could make could compare to the "modded" Oblivion. They just wouldnt have the time money to produce something like that. No games company would, not with any kind of deadline anyway.

MrCooper2006
Really? Surely they're just lying to put us off asking all the time, after the sales and coverage it recieved and the reviews etc. And the HUGE modding community that is STILL growing... They would be insane not to make another, and another. Altho obviously a project like Oblivion is incredibly time conusming and hard to do (especially to cater for so many age ranges and religions and censors etc) and something like this can never be "finished" theres always something that could be added or tweaked. Hence the endless mods. But to me Oblivion Vanilla is like a base, a template of a great game. Its like an artists pallete, they give us the tools and a world to use them in, and then people like the modders create something extra ordinary. Id be happy with this for TESV. Another base like Oblivion, then leave it to the modders to create what WE/THEY want. Obivously im not having a go at Beth, TES4 is one of the greatest games iv ever played, if not THE greatest. Im sure if theyd have taken 2yrs extra making the game then we'd still have complained that it was delayed, then complained the graphics weren't up to date to the second. Nature of a gamer. Or id be happy with them re-releasing TES4.... but with the Crysis Graphics Engine (or equivalent) *hint hint*

shadowfx78
I would be a dwener even though im sure i could very well be an ayleid too. Ethre
Either one would be amazing, although I would be more interested to see Dwemer. Bethesda have not yet planned to make TES V But they just renewed their copyright on Skyrim, didn't they? Might be something in the tubes
