Kerry88
Hey guys, I've been downloading music for Oblivion, most of which has been pretty good. However, there's one thing that I've noticed. The music changes from Combat to Ambient music very abruptly, and it really ruins the mood. What do you guys think? I find it a little pace breaking when I'm listening to a really intense track and then I kill the last enemy in the area the music just stops, right then and there, no fade or anything. What do you guys think? Is there a way to make the music change from Cambat to Ambient (and vice versa) smoothly? I think it would be a nice touch. Or is there already a mod that does this? o_O

Predatorsgod
You're looking at it wrong. If you want fade in and outs, edit the music it's self and add fade in and outs. That's all really, probably a ten minute job if you know what you're doing.
MrCooper2006
Personally I just play without music and use things such as Ambient Inns and Ambient Town Sounds For me thers nothing more immersion breaking than all of a sudden this loud, annoying, thunderous music coming in, then turning to see a bloody mudcrab trying to claw its way up a hill at you.... ridiculous. Therefore, adding a fade-out is pretty much useless in most cases. What we are looking for, as an added script to the music changing script, that will tell the audio options to be modified (music volume going down, then up again) and obviously someone good enough with scripts to look into that.
