PeppermintRain Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 Hello all,I was wondering if it would be possible to create a mod that actively replaces some of the beds and bedrolls in the game with a variety of meshes. I always thought it was odd and not realistic that every single person had the same exact bedrolls and lower-class beds throughout the entire map. I would love for an actual script replacer file to be made, preferably an OBMM file so I can just pop it in through OBMM. Dragging and dropping meshes into certain folders and whatnot is, unfortunately, over my head. I run the game through Steam and have all the DLC. For example, most beggars who live outside will probably still have the icky vanilla bedroll, but other types of NPCs have a variety of different ones. It would be nice to see lower class beds in homes have some of the different colorations provided. I don't want any new items added to the game, I just propose a replacer for the already existing lower-class beds and bedrolls. Disclaimer: I am a total newbie when it comes to making mods. I 100% have no idea if what I am proposing is possible, easy, or simple to do. I know nothing. Please excuse my ignorance. Oblivionaddicted Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 You can easily make the bed(rolls) look different by changing their associated mesh using the Construction Set extender.
