SKSE Launcher Won't Read Mods

So I don't know if "read" was the right word, but either way, it refuses to admit that I have mods installed on my computer. When I open Data Files, none of them are checked and they're in alphabetical order instead of Loot order. Short of clicking them all manually and fixing the order by hand, I haven't been able to fix this.

I use Vortex and have never had this problem before. All of my mods are enabled, all the plugins are enabled, and I've updated and applied the new masterlist - nothing.

Not only won't it register the mods, if I close the game launcher after checking the Data Files, I will notice that all my plugins have been disabled. I've re-enabled them three times now and have yet to pinpoint what exactly is turning them off(hint, it's not me).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I have no desire to manually sort my mods from the launcher every time I add\remove a mod.

Do not mess with your mods through the launcher, only use Vortex to manage your mods. SKSE doesn't "read" your mods, the game launcher assisted by Vortex does that. As long as you can start your game from Vortex using SKSE, then you should see your mods working just fine.

Update: I just tried to launch the game from the Vortex SKSE instead of Steam SKSE and get a CTD before Lokir finishes his first line in a new game.

you have a conflicted mod or load order problem. there is hundred of issues, re arrange your load order with LOOT and make sure you choose the right mod for your gameplay. hope this will help you out. happy modding !
