CloudLamda
Hi guys, does anybody know what mod this building could be from? Ive generated my LODs but whenever I come close to the buildings they both completely dissapear? It appears to be enterable judging from a distance but, as I say, its not actually there when Im standing next to where it should be. Sorry for the LQ screenshot!Any help/clue to what it could be would be appreciated !! https://i.imgur.com/ubFDOPw.jpg Edited March 2, 2019 by CloudLambda
IntenseMute
Do you have Electro-City installed? I heard it causes that sort of thing.
dubiousintent
LOD files are built from "*_far.nif" files, which are objects as seen in the distance (known as "viewable while distant"). See the TESTG "View While Distant/Level of Detail (VWD/LOD)" description for the differences between them and what you see closer up. You appear to be missing the "non-VWD range" building ".nif" files. Try toggling ArchiveInvalidation to see if it causes them to be "picked up". It is possible that when you uninstalled the mod they belong to, the "_far.nif" files got left behind, or that you haven't rebuilt your LOD since then. Otherwise, you need to re-install the mod. Unfortunately I do not recognize the buildings myself so I can't help with that. My guess (as I don't have Electro-City) would be either "The N.V. Interiors Project" by Chucksteel (or a patch for it), or WARZONES by MyGoodEye. -Dubious-
CloudLamda
Hey again, so yeah I did manage to track it down to being a part of Electro-City @IntenseMute. Iâve searched and read through pages on the posts tab for the mod and from what I understand itâs supposed to be there as a âmirageâ. The whole building altogether was scrapped in one of the updates and is no longer actually enterable normally unless using console commands, as itâs technically still in the mod (the interior). Apparently a script is supposed to run after the first time you enter the area that registers youâve been to where the building is. After that the LOD for the building site shouldnât appear anymore. However it does for me still last time I checked. However Iâm not too fussed NOW that I know exactly whatâs causing it. The mod also bares some bugs so given that, itâs kind of to be expected I guess... Oh well! Thought Iâd get back to this for anyone else that was wondering! JimboUK
I've been wondering what that was, you can't click on it to get the ID and I didn't fancy disabling and enabling mods to find out.

Is it still there for you after youâve fast travelled around?
dubiousintent
Thanks for taking the time to report your results. I've added this to the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article as "Issue - Mysterious building" under the "Miscellaneous" section for future reference. I'm sure it's going to bug someone else. -Dubious-

Sorry for the late reply, yeah it's always there, I don't mind though, it's like a mirage, you see it in the distance as you get closer it vanishes, it fits with the desert environment.
