CK error message after TesVSnip

Recommended Posts

Hey i'm getting an error message in the CK after I merged two esp files

There are about 6 like this, where can I delete what seems to be master data info with these IDs? The only master is skyrim.esm

The mod does load and I can view the merged data with no issues I just worry about how this will affect my mod.

If anyone can help but need more info I can provide it, I just need to know.

Thanks

I won't go into the issues with Snip. I got similar issues after the CK crashed on me a few days ago and trashed Skyrim.esm. I could tell that something had happened because it changed the date and time on the file to the time of the crash but it was right about the time the latest game update was released so I was a little concerned it was the new update. I used Steam's tool to verify the game cache and it redownloaded Skyrim.esm and everything was fine again. Maybe that could work for you.

Well I was thinking it may be related to the Update.esm.

Some weapon mods had this set as a master as well as Skyrim.esm, but with updates changing all the time the message could mean that dependency is redundant. It all loads fine now though in the CK, all but a few mods have been successfully merged, although I need to reassign 1stperson data due to a LOT of fromID changes so that they all work together

There was just one mod that crashed the CK when I tried to preview it here, sometimes when the render tries to load multiple shader types there is an error message which can be ignored but in this case got one with infinite windows popping up down the page which even froze the computer! I couldn't even CAD to close it!

I left it out for now.

So anyway back to original problem, I suspect the Update.esm is the problem but in TesVsnip I don't see the master properties to get rid of except for Skrim.esm which I will not be doing (obviously).

Does this make sense to anyone?
