A warning would have been nice

I opened up vortex today and it asked me to update, i went ahead thinking ok this shouldnt be a problem. It restarted and said something about a staging folder and deleted all my 100mods from the fallout 4.

 

Just a warning for others- thanks nexus but i think i am gone till the next bethesda game.

I have been advising to let Vortex install its directories to its default chosen path and by doing so, when updating to a new version, it won't do any harm to your installed games.

 

When people start treating Vortex like NMM or they go against the way this program works, things start going south and s*** happens !!
