How to use Vortex to Enable/Disable Creation Club Content

Hi 1ae0bfb8 .... question is if it would be legally possible to remove/alter/modify those CC plugins via Vortex. That could be considered by Bethesda an unwelcome action from Nexus.

 

Do not get me wrong, I am 100% against the freaking CC and if there is any way to make them disappear via Vortex, it would be awesome.

 

Bethesda never gave us the option to either have the CC or not, so, it is like : you want to play it, then have this and go with it !

Don't have Fallout, but at least to remove the "free" survival mod from SSE the only option was to manually delete the files. Since SSE haven't automatically re-downloaded the survival mod I would expect it's possible to create a new sub-directory under your mod staging folder and just move the files here. After this I would expect you can enable and disable the new mod as any other mods.

 

Note, it's possible you'll need to restart Vortex after creating new directory, before new mod shows up on mods tab.

 

In case you've got multiple cc mods, just create multiple directories and move files as needed.
