5FingerButtPunch
I am having a hard time finding original Type 6 Body. Can only find 6M version. Am I crazy? Does this even f*#@ing exist? Thanks in advance for any help.
dubiousintent
I found references that said the author set the original Type6 files to hidden back in 2015. Without the author's express permission, it's illegal to post them anywhere else, so you won't find them on Nexus. Type6M is a modification of that original body shape to suit yet another author's slightly different preferences. Type 6 is another variant of the base Type3. The "Issue - Body Replacer - Custom Body Types" entry of the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' sectionof the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article has links to all the currently popular, common body replacement mods. -Dubious-

Thanks in advance for any help. Not very hard to find if you use the search function at the top of every page in the mods section. Quicksearch returned 17 of ≈17 results in 11ms. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65627
5FingerButtPunch
Appreciate the direct response. That helps with some of the circles I found myself repeating. The "Use search" response without having an answer to the actual question. Significantly less appreciated. That is an armor/clothing mod. Not even the base character mesh, and literally does nothing to actually answer the question.
dubiousintent
Just to clarify (as it took me awhile to understand this as well): ALL clothing/armor (collectively "garments") mods are based around some body type. When worn, they completely replace the underlying body type mesh, so the "nude" body type does not matter. It doesn't appear at all; even the "bare skin" elements are part of the garment. FNV does not have separate "slots" for different parts of the body: only distinguishing between the head, hands, and the remainder of the body (misleadingly called "upper body slot" (there is no "lower body" nor "legs" slot; see 'TIP Biped and Equipped Objects' under the "Custom Items" section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article for more on this). In common with all other body replacers: the type 6 and 6M "body type" is only visible when the Actor is naked. When any article of "clothing/armor" for the body is worn, you get the "body type" that garment is based upon (e.g. vanilla, Type 3/6/6M or any other). There is no actual need to include the underlying "naked body mesh" in such mods. It just happens that the Type6 Sexy outfits with nude body (Replacer (T6) and Non-Replacer) by munnibhai mod includes the original Type 6 "nude" replacer mesh as well (as an optional file), while most of the others do not. The "body replacement" mods are typically just the "nude body replacement" and often do not have any related garments. This is why it is important to get "garment" mods that are based upon your preferred body type, and why any "vanilla" garments don't look as you might expect from your "nude" body type. -Dubious-

If you just happened to preview the mod contents, you would plainly see "femaleupperbody.nif". That is the base character mesh. The difference between the Type 6 and Type 6M is explained in the Type 6 Modification Body NV mod description. If that doesn't answer your question, I am at a loss as to what will answer it. 5FingerButtPunch
I wanted to know if original existed, or at least, used to exist. I knew about how the games armors worked (not to such a specific capacity) but mostly this whole post was initially just wondering if I wasn't finding anything because I wasn't looking in the right place somehow, or if it was legitimately gone. Sorry for LATE response. Sekiro had taken over for a while.

Sorry for LATE response. Sekiro had taken over for a while.Yes, it did exist. Yes, it does exist. Yes, it can be downloaded from the Nexus or Lovers Lab. Yes, you did not find anything because you were not looking in the right place. Again, using the search function with the term "Type 6" resulted in 17 items in 11 microseconds.
