WakahisaSensei
So, I've been trying for a long time now to give one of my characters an asian look. I've seen some people make some stunning looking characters (faces specifically) and yet mine never even come close. What would be the best mods to achieve this effect? I currently have Racemenu of course (and considering enhanced character edit as well)Using the CBBE body.Have the Demoniac skin texture (and tried others noticing little difference)Using pretty face for now, but again not noticing much difference for female characters.Have the brows mod, and it's been working fine.Had eyes of aber, but glitches were making the eyes look screwed up so I deleted it.Not using botox for skyrim because it removes facial expressions and they all get blank faces. This link below is roughly the look I'm going for, but cannot achieve at all. How do people make this? What mods do they use? I don't get it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/726134
DavinaJo
Getting the asian look is tricky but it can be done, To achive this , you'll need to first get a preset that will lend it self to be tweaked to what you want. 2 take your time in the eyes settings 3rd working with the nose, there are settings for changing the the way it looks. I would suggest highlighting the slider then using cursor keys to move it back and forth one step a time and looking at your character moving it with the camera sliders to see what effect the changes your are making have. Also you can also use the sculpt feature in Racemenu (but it takes even more patience (requires you move the vertices to make the changes (not really for beginners). all else fails you could look for a preset addon for Racemenu on the nexus. (look under character presets in catagories) btw the hair in that photo is either apachii Skyhair or KS Hairdo/Hairstyles beyond that I really can't tell you as it mostly a creative process. small suggestion you might want to try using real photos possibly those with multiple angles to get the features right. It's also hard to find a preset I like that didn't use Enhanced Character Edit. Most of them list both ECE and Racemenu. I'm wondering if they build them in ECE and somehow export them to Racemenu afterwards. It doesn't make sense that they'd list two incompatible mods but they do. DavinaJo
Sorry to hear you're still having problems, I've managed to create a asian character just using the base character presets and Racemenu with it addons if i knew how to post the pictures when i created her it would give you at least a start. I guess we just have to cater to our strengths and weakness. one last suggestion try to get in touch with the person who created the photo and let them know you like it and want to create something simular but don't have the talent to do it yourself, maybe they might offer to create a preset for racemenu that you can use. (i could do something along the lines of that photo but it would still be only a approximation and it would take a while. (without the photos of this picture from different angles it's going to be difficult to get some thing correct.)

(without the photos of this picture from different angles it's going to be difficult to get some thing correct.)I appreciate the offer but you don't have to do that for me. I'd rather learn to do this sort of thing myself if I can, and just nail down how its done. I've made some of my own Asian faces (male and female) and they aren't bad, just not even close to the person I mentioned above. I have tried to reach out to them but I'm getting the impression they either don't want to answer, or there might be a language barrier. But the tutorials provided above will certainly be of assistance. If you do take any screenshots of your characters I'd still be happy to see them and it might give me some ideas I'm not thinking of, but you don't need to go out of your way.
