petorr89
How long does this take to update usually after an update for fallout comes out? Pretty new (played on console without mods) so just wondering?
dobrique
sometimes same day, sometimes couple of days :(i got fuc*ed by the update too, just reinstalled and put in a bunch of mods and voila! new version dammit :)
ff7legend
This is why you guys need to lock Steam down in Offline Mode. Offline Mode keeps those pesky "stealth updates" at bay/off your machine & allow you to play your games until F4SE/any F4SE-reliant mods are updated. FlashKoti
Thank God, I installed a mod and the game immediately stopped working and presented the usual F4SE message... I thought the mod itself was the culprit.

tick008
Mother f*#@er. I played this morning, come home and load some new mods only to get the message when I try to play. Just ruined my night.
MadeUpName92
This is why you guys need to lock Steam down in Offline Mode. Offline Mode keeps those pesky "stealth updates" at bay/off your machine & allow you to play your games until F4SE/any F4SE-reliant mods are updated. Offline is not really offline unless you use a 3rd party program to block steam from connecting to the internet. Windows lets it create it's own allow rules in the windows firewall. (You can use Windows Firewall Control to stop this and keep using the built in firewall. (I recommend a pre Malwarebytes version as they recently bought it from Binisoft)) You only need to set it to "only update when launched", then it won't update when started with F4SE. It will only update if started with steam.
