Ocaro
Hey guys, I'm having a very strange bug that irritates me a lot and I've finally decided to ask for help from the playerbase. As you can see from the attached picture, everything that's rendering in a certain mid-range of the line of sight looks like running the game on lowest LOD settings possible. Everything that's closer or much further renders with no issues whatsoever (also visible from the screenshot). I've tried countless .ini settings to no avail. Does anyone know what's going on? I've got the game on max settings (excluding the buggy AA), normally running at 60 fps all the time. Currently playing with an ENB, if that could create any issues... Any tips, possible .ini configurations (95% sure this one is the culprit)...anything is welcome. Thanks for your time.
Ocaro
Terribly sorry about bumping this thread, but I happened to post it when the Dawnguard issues flooded this subforum.
Georgiegril
I don't know what is the cause, but I will try to help... having your graphics card and computer specs would help. Theory 1: An issue related to your hardware (Graphics card, etc) or modHave you tried lowering the settings all together?Did this happen before ENB? (ENB might be the issue, hard to say best way is to try uninstalling but you might need a clean reinstall)Also if you added and then removed a mod that affects your detail mid-distance, it may not have changed back completely. HAve you tried a complete clean reinstall? Maybe an issue with the .ini...have you tried reverting to the default ini? (IF you didn't make a save before changing things, you can just erase it entirely and let steam replace it) You may also find this guide useful, even if you don't have a NVidia card; the last 6 or so pages cover .ini tweaks and almost all of the 20 pages have information that is useful regardless of the card. There are some examples there too of how ini settings affect things like tree and terrain detail. BBen's blog also has a lot of useful info.
