eduardocomunf
I need help with installing skyrim mods. when I select the folder in which the mods should be installed, the following message appears "Due to oddities in the game engine, some loose files will not get loaded unless we change the filetime on the vanilla BSA/BA2 files. there is no drawback to doing this" I NEED HELP !!!!!! AugustaCalidia
Select and press the button that changes the filetime on the vanilla files. (Isn't there a button that says "fix" or something like that?) If you don't, Vortex will not place your loose (i.e., uncompressed) files into the Skyrim data directory, and your loose file mods will be MIA. rmm200
Not: You only have to do this once - unless a Bethesda patch replaces the BSAs.

rmm200
Bah. Spellcheck failed me. "Note:"
BigBizkit
Just click on the button that says "fix". It is normal that this would come up again when Bethesda decides to update SE.
