SkyNation Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 When ever i am near falkreath my game always ctd and i'm not exactly sure what could be causing it. I know it doesn't crash when i'm in a building in falkreath as ive tried with alternate start in the inn but when i left the inn the game crashed again. For me the solution, I think - was cleaning my core esm files with SSEEdit (the "mods" that come from Bethesda).I think it also had a bit to do with getting things like the 'Unofficial Skyrim Patch", "Cutting Room Floor", and the "Engine Fixes" mod. But it's been a while, and it looks like you have these.Do you have engine fixes, it won't show in a load order:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=files- because it's about DLLs and such. Yeah here's a post I made about a year ago:https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6789767-keeps-crashing-cant-figure-out-why/- Also mentioning engine fixes. I distinctly remember that I would get CTDs somewhere between Falkreath and Helgen or Pinewatch house. But it looks like I may have had most of my discussions about it before I found the Nexus website - as my post history on it here doesn't seem to have the stages where I was getting really confused... that'd be nice to see again, because there's probably a vital clue in them if anything more than engine fixes is needed.
