blackkat9
I like this idea.
DirebearCoat
Also, 12 years later. I didn't realize that this was a necroed thread until I read your last post. LOL I was thinking that Ulfrick and the Stormcloak rebellion really hate the Thalmore. Why wouldn't Ulfrick, himself, see to a raid against the Thalmore embassy, after defeating the Imperials at Solitude? After completing all other Thalmore embassy related quests, the Dragonborn would get a courier message to report to High King Ulfrick in Windhelm, where the Dragonborn would get his orders... Believe it or not, I still haven't played the game to its conclusion. I know you can join the Stormcloaks, or join the Imperials. Besides being victorious depending on which side you join, I don't know how those quest lines end, so I don't know if the idea of Ulfrick Stormcloak giving the quest to raid and destroy the Thalmore embassy makes sense in that reguard. As Dragonborn, I wouldn't mind going in there and raising a ruckus! Those Thalmore have been putting hits out on my character from the beginning, and I don't even know why! Maybe, while looting the burning embassy, you could find documents that explains why they were after the Dragonborn...
Ansury
Does it count as a necro if it was intentionally 'necroed'? lol It's still alive!!! (kind of) I'm thinking, maybe once the new version of Nexus Mod Manager comes out (whatever the successor is), apparently the new one is Linux compatible. NMM isn't, so I'm not really inclined to do much with Skyrim modding right now. If I get an easier way to manage Skyrim modding insanity with a Linux compatible mod manager... this gets more interesting. I have plenty of modding experience for other stuff, maybe I try working on this if I can get back into the game then. But I'd probably need some help. I can't even remember half the lore anymore. DirebearCoat
I think, for a thread to be counted as having been "necroed," it has to be a certain amount of time old (many months old, maybe, but certainly years old). Some forums have policies against necroing dead threads, but I don't see the harm if it's to bring to attention something that may be of interest to the community, like this thread, for example. Ansury
I read somewhere that it's generally NOT considered a "necro" if it was the OP adding something to it. Once this https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/NexusMods.App NMM replacement is 'done' with Linux support I guess I'll try to get back into Skyrim SE. I tried it unmodded briefly and there's just no way I'd be able to tolerate it without extensive mods. Even with the elf-slaying. It felt like Skyrim's combat model was...outdated, or something. I'll have to look for some mod to try and improve the combat feel. The hits just seemed kind of 'fake' to me. I may have been spoiled by the melee combat in Ryse: Son of Rome recently.
