Updating to Vortex made Fallout 4 crash

Hello,

I recently got back into Fallout 4 and booted up Nexus Mod Manager last night. although my mods were out of date, it still worked fine. Today I decided to download vortex and update mods. After some updating them I tried to run the game and I got the "starts for a few seconds at the menu, then crashes" bug. I disabled all the mods and plug-ins and still the same result.

My f4se is up to date and all previous versions removed. I don't have a dxgi.dll file.

I've spent about 3 hours looking for a solution to no avail, so I humbly ask what should I do at this point?

My request would be that you watch a video tutorial on how to use Vortex. There are some good ones.

And your description really does not say what you did. Remove all mods installed by NMM before switching to Vortex. Use Steam to validate your game directory.

And make sure you Vortex Deploy to activate mods, or Purge to remove them. Disabling mods in Vortex does nothing without that Deploy.

Crashing at the point you indicate is often a missing Master. Run FO5Edit to check your mods.

Apologies on not providing more detail. If I have trouble in the future I will be sure to be thorough.

This is what I'm looking for. I'll download and run it and see if I can't find out where I screwed up. Thanks.
