Dawnguard: Unequiping Morokei makes shout glitches out. Help?

So, basically, as of Dawnguard, my main character has always worn Morokei since doing the College of Winterhold questline and it's been my most used head piece. I used the Steam Workshop's "Genuine Morokei" mod with it so it would have the additional 20% Fortify Shout it should have had. And it's never been a problem. But now, it's starting to glitch out massively whenever I do attempt to remove it. Shouts, for whatever reason, have insane recharge deductions when it's removed- and permanently. For example, Unrelenting Force's recharge times go from 12, 16, and 36 to -1488, --1984, and ... I actually don't get anything. For another example, Fire Breath becomes -2976 and -4960 (never unlocked the third word) basically giving unlimited shouts. While that's fun for a little bit, I don't want to have that kind of game breaking unless it's me doing some moding purposely gamebreaking- never been interested in infinite shouting, just maybe using enchantments to lower recharge, but it would be nice if I could find a way around this. Learning new shouts as

I've tried uninstalling the mod, and even uninstalling the entire game with the mod unequipped to reinstall it without a single trace of the enchantment remaining. It's still there though. Also tried even uninstalling Dawnguard by deleting the ESP to unequip it, then reinstall the game. Also didn't work, and I'm starting to wonder just what's wrong.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong, has this happened with anyone? If there isn't a fix or anything for this, does anyone at least know with Console Commands how you can remove Shout- or, with console commands, change the cooldown of shouts? I'd be willing to look up every shout changing it if that was the only option.

Thank you for any information that can be given c: on this

Hi ShadowSora94,

I had this problem too. Couldn't seem to find out what mod was causing it but it appears something must have altered an actor value.

Anyway, here's how I fixed it. Open the console and type:

player.forceav shoutrecoverymult 1

1 is the default value. 0 will remove recharge time altogether. In the end I used 0.5 since I feel the shout cooldowns are too long anyway.

Hope this was helpful.

Cheers
