ERF editor Saving Problem

I edited 'chargenmorphcfg.xml' and in the tools folder used th erf editor to insert resource browsed to my new file and then went to save

and got the message 'unable to create backup file or copy temporary output.' and won't let me save. What do I do to fix it?

 

Seems to have saved anyway though.
