vermut12
It took me 10 minutes to register on this site. Mainly because it's really hard to read what's written in those "human verification" pictures. I don't have any problems with eyesight but very often it's hard for me to tell one letter from another. The sound doesn't help as well as it is filled with gibberish white noise. I believe this part of the registration process should be improved. kevkiev
Unfortunately, a lot of sites are using that these days. I forgot my password on the Bethesda forums the other day and I lost track of how many times I had to refresh the verification page to get a new puzzle. How anyone is expected to read 90% of those things is beyond me. (And forget about the audio version - it's like playing a Black Sabbath record backwards.) Went through the same thing again when I went to buy dawnguard and Steam told me I was logging in from a different computer (although it's the only computer on which I even have steam installed). Dunno if there's much that can be done about it though, my guess is that it's a reaction to the increasing sophistication of internet bots, so the underlying rationale is understandable. JimboUK
They're getting silly now, I had to do one the other week and just gave up, they're keeping humans out now.
