thousande
Hi In my quest to make a "dark space" in CK I have ended up with creating a new world space and pointed it to a custom Lightning Template (everything set to 0) and a custom weather and ticked No Sky in the world space. As long as 'No Sky' is ticked I get this unwanted light as shown in the image [1] If I uncheck the 'No Sky' flag I get the desired result until night time where the sky light is lighter. Anyone who knows what I am doing wrong here? T [1] Image: https://imgur.com/a/NWTygRh
SandMouseAnarchy
I'm not too sure what's going on there, but a possible solution might be to make your own "sky box" and just make that pitch black, maybe set up some dark distance fog too? thousande
Thanks! I am not a light expert and unfortunately I do not know the term for the type of light I am experiencing. I guess one can see same effect in play when creating a vanilla interior cell / eg. a large room and have no light objects placed in the cell. There are always a 'growing light' in the background / distance that follows the movement.I guess anyone working a lot with lights know the term and the cause. This light does not penetrate eg. walls and ceilings etc. so that is my current solution after messing around with weather, image spaces etc. with no luck.
