Lucas arts has betrayed the PC player

Force Unleashed sucks. It's clunky, sluggish, repetitive and best of all, the game is literally incomplete. In the last few stages of the game, several of the menus actually read "Default Text" where there should be mission objectives. On most of the levels, a large percent of the enemies do not even respond to your presence even if you attack them. And those are the good points. This game fails at everything it tries. Save yourself 60 bucks and just watch the cutscenes on youtube, they are the only part of the game that function properly. But I guess the fanboys don't really care as long as the commercial looks cool.

I am not die hard fan of star wars, just there is long history of PC games coming out of Lucas Arts. Same thing goes for GTA games...... I personally only have PC, I see no need to have ps3 or what have you.

I've got the game on the 360, and so far it's awesome. (Only 2nd level though). I can see how it will get repetitive further on, but it's still worth the purchase for the plot development, which is what the game is for.

Huh, I was actually thinking of getting this. Always pays to read consumer reviews and reviews from your fellow forum members rather than the ones found on review sites. Not to say that one opinion is enough for me, but that's some pretty damning evidence right there.

I -hate- sloppy, rushed games. (eg: Ultima IX, Dungeon Lords...)

I have the XBOX 360 version and noticed the "Default Text" and AI characters that stand around and do nothing (somewhat rare). The aiming of the force powers seems like a bad choice too because the onscreen character has to be facing the target rather than your viewscreen (like most other games) which causes problems when fighting in close quarter battles where you do not have the luxury to run around in circles trying to highlight the correct object onscreen. ;)

I've played through the entire game and it was fairly difficult for me since I was not really trying to find any secret spots or "power up" with the cubes so each stage felt like a very good challenge.

When I finished the game (as a good guy), I started over to play as an evil SOB and was delighted to see that I retained my leveled up character (although only 1/2 way leveled up). It was MUCH easier to go through the game with full lightning powers and seemed much more enjoyable the 2nd time round (bugs and all).

At the end of the day, it still makes me want to tell somebody about the awesome technique of force gripping a baddie, lifting them into the air, shocking them with lightning to turn them into a grenade, then impaling them with my lightsaber only to chuck them a quarter mile away and watch their bodies fly and tumble. ;)
