Constant crash to desktop without error message

I constantly get crashed to desktop after the recent update. I've tried everything on the internet and nothing really helps.

As I step in any size of the towns, (or perhaps anything more graphic intense i suspect) the game will crash to desktop without any warning, nor error messages.

It also happens on vanilla games, with no mods and no addons, and I still get the CTD with new clean save whenever the cart drives into the town.

The only solution I can find is to turn my setting to lowest, without any more crashes.

The rig I'm using is AMD FX-8150,

Windows 7 32 bits,

12GB ram installed (I know 32 bit only recognize 3GB),

Gigabyte windforce 3 gtx 670

and with over 500GB of free hard desk space, everything updated to the most recent driver, so I doubt it has to do with my current rig.

Please help. I've never had this problem before with my laggy Intel Pentium 4, Radeon HD 6850, Vista 32. And I am literally pulling my hair out trying to resolve this problem.

the sudden CTD sounds like you are overwhelming your computer, either the card or the available memory. If you ran something like CPU-Z, you could determine what your loads and temps were on both CPU and GPU just before the crash. That would help you decide your next step.

Edit: If both are under your max, then it could still be a mod issue, even on vanilla, if you have any leftover scripts after uninstalling.

Thanks for the fast reply, I did run CPU-Z to check if any of my system is overloading, and both are no where close to my max.

I make a habit to shut my computer whenever I don't need it, so I would like to believe those are not what caused my problem. (although I could be wrong)

As for the mods, I've uninstalled everything, and deleted the entire Skyrim folder in my program files.

Both did nothing to solve my problem, and I have no idea what went wrong. It's be much easier if I know what went wrong with either the game, or the system.

Damn. A complete wipe and reinstall is what I'm trying after work to solve my CTDs. Your post is not very encouraging. Not that it helped me, but do you have the latest video drivers installed and a disabled antivirus while playing?
