samv96UK
All of a sudden I'm getting a strange bug in the Creation Kit in which all of the Papyrus Fragments/Scripts etc. have been replaced with ;CODE NOT LOADED. I've checked my scripts folder and they're all there, but I don't get why the CK isn't loading them correctly. It also means that some of my quests aren't functioning as they should be, which is pretty annoying. Anyone have any knowledge on how to re-choose the script or something? If push comes to shove I guess I'll just have to type out all of the scripts again, but it would be useful if I didn't have to.
Korodic
Have you tried turning it off and on again? http://torwars.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/funny-pictures-technical-support-cat.jpg
samv96UK
Have you tried turning it off and on again? I've tried restarting the Creation Kit several times but still the same thing unfortunately...
Ghaunadaur
You are probably missing some script source files.

gasti89
Happened to me one time. The source scripts were simply disappeared. There's no way to find them. I've heard there is a sort of "uncompiler" wich will take your PEX and make them sources, but haven't find it. If the missing scripts are vanilla, you can restore them by verifying the game cache via Steam (the Creation Kit cache, not the Skyrim one). If the missing scripts are made by you...well...good luck :|

If the missing scripts are made by you...well...good luck :| I just started to verify the CK files in Steam and it said 4 files were missing. It started to fix it but the update seeming stopped ("Suspended"?) and wouldn't continue. So I've deleted CK and reinstalling it now... hopefully everything will be okay after that otherwise I'll have to re-do a tonne of scripts again. ...I hate scripts
samv96UK
Nope... The goddamn thing still says CODE NOT LOADED in annoying intimidating capitals. :wallbash:
Ghaunadaur
Happened to me too. Fortunately it was just a little variation of a vanilla script. From this day, I always make a backup of my source files. :whistling:
gasti89
Yeh i make backups of everything too now. The suspended thing is normal, took me 1 day to verify 11 files. Those 4 files will be vanilla scripts. All your custom scripts (or vanilla edited) will be lost.
