Matth85
I'm not buying it until the price goes down below $10. I'm not wasting money on a vampire orientated DLC when there's no guarantee I'd enjoy it. But when it is under 10 USD you are guaranteed you will enjoy it?What is it I don't even... That said, it might be vampire oriented, but there is so much more it gives. I'll give a rundown wihout spoiling the fun parts. Armored trolls to help you fight. Some more story on the Falmer.Using the sun as a weapon itself.Cool puzzles.A few new armor sets.Crossbows, which are awesome.New areas, including a new realm, where you see a familiar face from an older TES game, and get to do some fun stuff.New shouts.New random encounter with vampires in cities, to break up the boring city visit.More fun with Elder Scrolls.New spell effects. Frankly, I forgot it was a vampire mod halfway into the Dawnguard part. Matth

Plus you get an option of three interesting unique items, one of which is mega awesome for non armour mages.
ItsMeToo
DawnGuard has now given me a reason to turn into a beast more often. It's a lot more fun for me now.
Solongchu
When I first read what people said about it when it came out for the xbox I wasnt sure about it but then I took a chance and love it.It not only adds Dawnguard but I also found lots of changes to the regular Skyrim. David Brasher
After being so disappointed with Skyrim, I vowed that I would not buy Dawnguard. But when the time came, I needed to do compatibility work for my uploaded Skyrim mods, and I needed a copy of Dawnguard. I was also hoping to play Dawnguard and have a good time, but I have spent several hours trying to get it to work, and I am still not having any luck. If your computer does not chance to be one that Dawnguard just works on, the consensus seems to be that the only way to be quite sure that Dawnguard will work for you it is to disable every one of your mods while you are playing it, and start a new character. Dawnguard is the most unreliable piece of software Bethesda has ever released.
keremcantarhan
I didn't really like the vampire lord thing, I started a vampire because it looked "cool" but it's not fun. You only have one offensive spell and it's an AOE spell and while melee mode is really cool it's not that strong. I'm having a hard time killing things I could 2 or 3 shot with my marksmen or 2-handed warrior.Other than that, story's really nice and there are some really cool surprises along the way. New characters are full of life ( at least the important ones) and I'm really liking the new voice actor especially the one who voiced Isran. SergeantGrrock
I'm waiting until it's packaged along with all the DLCs that will come out. I made the mistake of buying Oblivion's DLCs individually, never doing that again. Plus, I got the game running and looking pretty nice. Don't wanna install Dawnguard just to find out its going to destroy my save games or I have to remove mods I really like. Heard it's pretty buggy, but what isn't from Bethesda :P After I read your post I quit reading this topic. Know why?? 'Cause I would have said the EXACT SAME THING.
