You might search Witcher in both the Skyrim SE and the "Oldrim" nexus, see if someone's already made the sword, then check the permissions and shoot the author a PM, asking if you can use the resource. I got ALL the tools installed, Blender, Nifskope, Gimp, loads of utils, and a chitload others, just don't have the knowledge to use all of it. I got a program i use to search for nifs on my e: drive where skyrim se is.. It always comes up with stuff from other games, like Witcher 1.. cool looking stuff too. If I could ever learn how to use all this stuff....... I even downloaded some real cool "models" of different types of swords etc.. If only i could learn to export to nif (then skin) lol... Good luck man, I know I'm no help to ya here...But My 2¢c0AX599 P.S. Lotta people around here chomping at the bit for some knowledge!! If any have it, please post, yes i know how to search, boolean and otherwise.. But alot of tutorials and other infos is for Skyrim, not SE and not for the newer nif format.. You just don't always find the info you need. And if you dun have the time to learn all this from scratch.. Need the knowledge from some lurking experts :wink: Ya know, I tried making a new nif other day.. Spent a day and a half on it, merging vanilla books in nifskope. I finally did it after having to run blind, after the ONLY tutorial it seems out there was for Skyrim and the old nifs.. But I finally got it to show in nifskope.. Looked GREAT!! I was so happy! Then it didn't work at all, Crashed CK right away everytime i tried to use it to add new item lol. Chit!!!!! That's where we need old experts to update their tutorials, and impart their knowledge so we little uns can learn. I mean very few have the smarts to go research the nif format on their own, and learn it's nuances.. A tidbit of expert info or info from those with a higher level of knowledge would be nice to see here.
