Most likely by using part of nifskope that has been untouched by most modders. Together with some cloth simulation in whatever 3d package in use.

From the progress they've gotten, it looks like we'll have cape physics within a month!

Looks like they got an SKSE plugin out that allows for multiple capes with physics. :dance:

Will this be a noticeable load on the game like decrease in performance in any way? Because what is done with one thing will eventually be done with ALL things and how is the game going to handle all those things using vertlet at the same time?
