Matth85 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Um, ok how did he do that? Most likely by using part of nifskope that has been untouched by most modders. Together with some cloth simulation in whatever 3d package in use.
Psiberzerker Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Now, if he can just get it actually attached to his back...
Seviraph Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) that video is the result of this thread http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1401274-question-harkons-vampire-lord-cape/ (take a look to get a better idea of what they're doing) would be great if the Cloak mod authors took a look at this too (well.. assuming they know how this stuff works) Edited August 8, 2012 by Seviraph
AxlRocks Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Beyond words how amazing this is and how bad it's needed for so many things in the game. I seriously hope to see more of this, and soon.
Lutine Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 From the progress they've gotten, it looks like we'll have cape physics within a month!Looks like they got an SKSE plugin out that allows for multiple capes with physics.
vineyard Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 it's pretty much the same as the cloth of Dragon priest.
dragonslayer2k12 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Will this be a noticeable load on the game like decrease in performance in any way? Because what is done with one thing will eventually be done with ALL things and how is the game going to handle all those things using vertlet at the same time?
